Bar Batrahos like a Serifian fairytale..

Visitors wonder about the name, while locals and those who know Serifos well find it perfectly normal. Because the frog of Serifos is one of the most famous stories of the island! It is the sacred animal of Serifians, it is voiceless and you will listen to stories about it even today. It is not a coincidence that the ancient coin of Serifos (6th Century B.C.) had a frog embossed on it!

So, this is the symbol that the two friends, Aris and Giannis, chose for their bar, because they know Serifos very well! They created Batrahos (meaning “frog” in Greek), with the colors of the Aegean and the uncluttered, minimal style of the island, unique cocktails and “full of voice” from beloved music!

These two friends also know that the sunrise in Chora is one of the most beautiful in the Aegean and they have the best way for you to experience it: by dancing in Batrahos!
