Aspros Pirgos - Koutalas (Signage “3”)

As you go from Chora towards the junction to the villages of Mega Livadi and Koutalas, you will meet on your left the dirt road that ends to Aspros Pirgos. From the same spot starts the trail towards Koutalas village, which, however, ends after a while to a farmhouse’s paddock and passes through the property, which is blocked by two small doors, so as to keep the herd within.

It is most likely that the owner will not allow your entrance, which will lead you to a path with no clear “etching”. This is why there is a “dead end” signage at the beginning of the route from the main, asphalt road, and is also an important reason to avoid crossing it.
