Starting from Livadi and reaching the large bay of Koutalas, you will first meet Vagia, one of its three beautiful beaches. You can park on the roadside and walk, or go down the dirt road that will lead you near the shore.

This beach of wild beauty has thick sand and perhaps the most magnificent seabed of the island, with colorful pebbles and crystal clear water. If you stay there till the sunset you will definitely be rewarded by the view of the sun disappearing behind Aspros Kavos.

There is no natural shade, however some thatched umbrellas and sun-beds have been placed in the past years. The only “dissonance” in the whole scenery are the concrete skeletons of arbitrary structures that have not been finished.

It is advised that you select the middle and left side of the beach for swimming, since a large slab stone on the right hinders the entrance to the sea.
